ORBIS raises forecast for 2018 after strong first half year
The Saarbrücken-based software and business consulting company ORBIS AG, which is listed in the General Standard, is raising its forecast for the 2018 financial figures after the first half of the year:
Good business performance in the first half of 2018
According to preliminary figures, consolidated sales increased by 11.1 % compared to the same period of the previous year to € 27,683k (previous year: € 24,928k).
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) improved by 19.2 % year-on-year to € 1,468k in the reporting period (previous year: € 1,232k).
Earnings before taxes (EBT) increased by 31.8 % to € 1,497k (previous year: € 1,136k).
ORBIS AG's consolidated earnings after taxes and minority interests increased by 8.7% to €734 thousand (previous year: €675 thousand); this corresponds to earnings of 8.7 cents per share (previous year: 8.0 cents per share).
The number of employees increased by 11.2% to 457 as of June 30, 2018 (previous year: 411).
Further growth in the second half of 2018
In view of the good first half of the year, the predominantly positive business outlook, and the effects from the majority stake in the Dutch SAP consulting partner Quinso B.V. and the associated consolidation in the second half of 2018, the company is adjusting its financial outlook.
We now expect full-year revenue growth of > 12% and an increase in operating profit (EBIT) of > 25% year-on-year.
