Digitalization and harmonization of services: ORBIS introduces Microsoft Dynamics 365 from the cloud at PERI

ORBIS AG has introduced the cloud solution Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service at PERI, a world-leading manufacturer of formwork and scaffolding, at its UK site within a period of only three months. The IT service provider from Saarbrücken impressed with its extensive know-how of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the processes within the construction supply industry as well as with its problem-solving skills and pragmatic approach. In addition, the reliable teamwork of all stakeholders and the implementation of agile Scrum methods with short sprints was key for the fast implementation, which, due to the Corona pandemic, took place entirely remotely.

Now Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service will support the customer engagement strategy of PERI. This allows the company to manage service-relevant data centrally, uniformly and with high quality in the cloud. This “Single Source of Truth” paradigm creates the prerequisites for digitalising and harmonising services across multiple locations and making them even more efficient and transparent. This is added value for both customers and PERI.

The centrally managed service data allows meaningful analysis of key service figures, owing to its high quality, and provides those responsible with important insights for additional optimisation potential. In future, the analysis platform Microsoft Power BI, which is fully integrated into Microsoft Dynamics 365, will provide the necessary data insights in real-time illustrated in a transparent manner.

End users, who were trained by PERI, have a high level of acceptance of the cloud-based application. This is why it is intensively used. Currently, the service department of the British PERI subsidiary is working with it. The roll-out of the service solution to other PERI locations is to take place in stages; the next stage is the introduction of the service solution at the German sales company in Weissenhorn near Ulm.

PERI is moving towards an integrated customer engagement platform with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, which will be used by around 5000 end users in its final configuration. The formwork and scaffolding company has used the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales solution together with the ORBIS ConstructionHUB for years. The Construction Hub is based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud and allows the company to transfer relevant leads from a construction database to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. This will improve sales.
